Full Planning Application for Community Facilities & Retirement Living

Public Consultation

 

 

Jomast Developments is preparing a full planning application for the construction of new community facilities and retirement living units at York Road, Easingwold.

The proposed scheme would deliver a new a food store, a repositioned petrol filing station with convenience store, dental care and medical facilities for Easingwold, alongside a varied range of retirement living units including bungalows, extra-care apartments and a care home.

A public exhibition was held between on Monday 18th July 2022 at The Galtres Centre, where residents were invited to view the plans and provide feedback.

Any residents wishing to comment further may do so using the contacts methods at the bottom of this page. Please provide your comments by 31st July 2022. This will allow time for the design team to review any feedback before progressing with the design process and planning application.

What Happens Next?

 

Comments will be reviewed in conjunction with the design team and a ‘Consultation Statement’ will be submitted alongside the planning application. The Consultation Statement will summarise the comments received and provide details of any design changes made in response to the public consultation. It will also aim to address residents’ queries where possible. Following the receipt of a planning application, Hambleton District Council will carry out its own consultation exercise.
