Land to the East of St. Lamberts Drive, Burneston

Full planning application for a 9 dwelling residential development.

 Public Consultation: Have Your Say

Background

We would like to hear the views of local residents regarding a proposed development by Mulberry Homes Yorkshire to construct of 9 dwellings on land to the east of St. Lamberts Drive, Burneston.

The development would comprise a mixture of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes which would be designed in keeping with the character of nearby properties and laid out in a conventional cul-de-sac arrangement. Vehicular and pedestrian access would be via St. Lamberts Drive.  The proposed dwellings would add to the range of good quality houses within the village and the development would help to support local services to ensure the village remains sustainable.  The proposals would allow for landscape features to be retained wherever possible, and new landscaping would also be provided within the site.

The site is part of an emerging allocated housing site for 25 homes (Hambleton Publication Draft Local Plan ref. BUR 1: St. Lamberts Drive, Burneston).  Outline planning permission has already been secured for the southern part of this emerging allocation.  Mulberry Homes Yorkshire are partnering with Broadacres, a Registered Social Landlord with a proven track record of delivering good quality homes, to provide the affordable housing element of the development.
